An Evening to Remember: A Carol Concert On Behalf of Cancer Research UK
This prestigious event brings together top-tier talent, offering something for everyone – from traditional carols to contemporary pieces. All proceeds go directly to the life-saving work of the Cancer Research UK Scotland Institute. Don’t miss this uplifting night of celebration, remembrance, and hope, as we come together to raise vital funds for cutting-edge cancer research.
The evening will begin with the stirring sound of a Scottish piper, welcoming you into the Cathedral’s sacred space. This year’s event, hosted by Laura Boyd, features an inspiring line up including Nathan Evans with guest Hannah Aitchison, opera talents Gordon Wilson and Judith Howarth, and uplifting performances from the Rockus Choir and the choir of The High School of Glasgow. We are honoured to welcome Dr Jacqueline McLaren, Lord Provost of Glasgow, who will be attending the event. After the concert, guests are invited to enjoy drinks and canapés in the magnificent Nave — a chance to connect, reflect, and contribute to the fight against cancer.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
