Edinburgh’s Steven Millar and Charles Dundas have been improvising comedy shows together since 2015. They specialise at poking into the cracks which exist at the heart of even the happiest relationships, and turning that discomfort into brilliantly dark comic scenes.
So, why can’t we have nice things? Is it those little imperfections in life? Which compartment of the washing machine drawer is the powder supposed to go into? Has your Dad insisted on calling Starbursts Opal Fruits even since the name change in 1998?
From those suggestions Steven and Charles build a unique and silly world of characters and situations which are guaranteed to entertain, and which might just go some way towards explaining why we never seem to be able to have nice things.
“Silly... in all the right ways.” As seen on BBC Scotland Short Stuff.
