When the 1988 Glasgow Garden Festival closed, the site was completely cleared - or was it? Join Urban Prehistorian Kenny Brophy, heritage expert Gordon Barr and Garden Festival obsessive Lex Lamb on a guided walk around the festival site. We will take you back in time to show you what was there - and also reveal some surprising remnants still there today of the unique event that changed the way Glasgow sees itself, and how it is seen by the world.
Please note: when you buy a ticket, we will contact you with the meeting point for the start of the walk. On the day, you'll get a handout with a map to help orientate you and take you back in time to 1988...
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
