About Community Cinema: Aftersun (2023)
At a fading vacation resort, 11-year-old Sophie treasures rare time together with her loving and idealistic father, Calum (Paul Mescal). As a world of adolescence creeps into view, beyond her eye Calum struggles under the weight of life outside of fatherhood.

We hire a full-size cinema screen from INDY for our film events in our 165-capacity Sports Hall.
Supported by Film Hub Scotland, part of the BFI’s Film Audience Network, and funded by Screen Scotland and National Lottery funding from the BFI.
Tickets are pay-what-you-like by donation, through EventBrite or on the door. Admissions help us cover our costs, but we wish to be as inclusive as possible.
