Join our expert Volunteer Guides as they take you on a journey through the collection with free themed weekly tours. No booking required, join us by the tour meeting point screen near reception.

Thursday 08 January at 12:30pm | Crafts of the Past | A walk through the history of craft techniques on the Burrell upper floor galleries.
Thursday 15 January at 12:30pm | Greece before Greece! | What led up to the age of classical Greece, and what happened later? Come and find out through the wonderful objects in the collection.
Thursday 22 January at 12:30pm | The Silk Roads | For centuries the Silk Roads spanned China, Persia and the West. The Burrell Collection holds a rich selection of treasures from this exotic world - come and find out more.
Thursday 29 January at 12:30pm | Musical Notes | Music has always been part of human life, and appears in ceramics, stained glass, sculpture and much more. Come and imagine the music of the past through the wonderful objects in the collection.
