Join our expert Volunteer Guides as they take you on a journey through the collection with free themed weekly tours. No booking required, join us by the tour meeting point screen near reception.

04 September at 13:30 | The Silk Roads | For centuries the Silk Roads spanned China, Persia and the West. The Burrell Collection holds a rich selection of treasures from this exotic world - come and find out more.
11 September at 12:30 | Power and Performance - some women’s stories in the Burrell | A tour around some of the collections pieces celebrating female art and experience.
18 September at 12:30 | Medieval Times | Come and find out about the fascinating medieval period, beginning after the fall of the Western Roman Empire and ending with the dawn of the Renaissance, through objects in the Burrell Collection.
25 September at 12:30 | Friendship and Adornment Galleries | A more detailed look at some of the fascinating objects in the Friendship gallery and Adornment gallery.
