About Fraser Fifield with Catriona McKay and Chris Stout: One Great Circle
Part of Fraser’s output as Artist in Residence for the School of Scottish Studies, University of Edinburgh, One Great Circle is inspired by the supernatural stories of Stanley Robertson (1940-2009, storyteller, singer, member of the Travelling community of NE Scotland) which blur distinctions between real and unreal. Robertson’s recorded voice further lends atmosphere to the live performance.
