We wanted to warmly invite EVERYONE in the entire Hillhead family and diaspora to celebrate this remarkable milestone together at our wonderful centenary celebration on Friday, May 24th! Tickets start at just £10, and under-18s accompanied by a responsible adult are very welcome for free until 10 p.m.
Please join us in spreading the word far and wide that everybody connected to Hillhead Sports Club is most welcome to come along and celebrate this important milestone together! From all members of current and former sections, to former Hillhead High School pupils, to former players, physios, support staff, etc.
With quality catch-ups in mind, we will have a separate, quieter, seated area exhibiting a variety of pictures from the club's history for those who wish to take a break from the 'Eightsome reel' and chat with old and new friends alike! Please get in touch via board@hillheadsportsclub.com if you have any pictures you think should be displayed.
The celebrations will be compèred by local actor, comedian, and member, 'Zee', and the toe-tapping dance tunes will be provided by the fantastic Stravaig Cèilidh band. Our usual rumbustious raffle is not to be missed, and neither is our recreation of the heady nights of the world-famous 'Hillhead Disco', which will take place from 11 p.m. until close!!
The bar will be open all evening, and of course Café Source Too will be open as usual and offering their pre-theatre menu, for example, prior to the event (please make sure to book!).
We sincerely hope to see you there!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
