Families with children over 5 in the Glasgow City Council postcode can join Bridging The Gap for a free family day trip to Whitelee Windfarm, the UK's largest offshore windfarm on Eaglesham Moor.
About Free Family Day Out to Whitelee Windfarm
Friday 2nd August 2024 from 10am.
This event includes:
• transport to and from the Gorbals
• time to explore the visitor area
• take part in the guided electric bus tour around the windfarm learning about the 215 turbines
• a short walk with information about the ecology and biodiversity of the site
• a picnic lunch,
• time to explore the exhibits in the learning hub.
This session is suitable for families with children over the age of 5 with a Glasgow City Council postcode.
Places are limited and booking in advance is essential.
