Learn how being kind and helpful can support your mental health, boosting happiness and protecting against depression, and even how it can impact your heart, immune system, and even some aspects of ageing. David will share the latest ground-breaking research around kindness and also discuss the importance of being kind to yourself too, and how to best practice it. You’ll also learn how to practice kindfulness – a friendly take on mindfulness – and why it can have a significant impact on your health and the impact you have on others.
David is a writer, columnist, speaker, and regular podcast guest. He is a former research and development scientist and now author of 12 books. His most recent book, ‘The Joy of Actually Giving a F*ck’ is published on 9th July 2024. He has delivered talks for Google, 3M, Bank of England, UK Government, NHS, Costa, and many more. He’s also been a guest on Sunday Brunch Live. David is honorary scientific advisor for the charity, ’52-Lives’, which helps people each week through public acts of kindness.
