This showcase celebrates the emerging contemporary design scene, presenting an eclectic mix of sculptural objects and innovative furniture pieces. Curated by Slancha, the exhibition’s name reflects the idea of bringing this diverse group of designers together under one roof for the first time, symbolising unity and collaboration. ‘Under One Roof’ perfectly encapsulates the theme of homeware and furniture, emphasising the personal and communal spaces we inhabit. Set in the heart of Glasgow’s dynamic cultural landscape, this vibrant display of Scotland’s design talent promises to captivate and inspire.
Founded in Edinburgh by young designers Findlay MacDonald and Harvey Everson, Slancha is a platform dedicated to contemporary furniture and homeware. Slancha’s primary focus is to showcase unique contemporary design to wider audiences, building a strong community around the emerging contemporary design scene in Scotland.
