Beth Shapeero and Fraser Taylor began their collaboration after meeting and discovering one another’s practice while on residence at the Studio Pavilion at House for an Art Lover in 2017.
They realised a shared aesthetic; in particular, the use of bold abstract mark-making that explores drawing, painting and printmaking.
These similarities has generated a trust in creating together, enabling a collaborative system which allows both their voices to be present and equal at every stage of the process, through expressive forms of colour and shape.
For their exhibition at Platform, Beth and Fraser will utilise the vast scale of the exhibition wall and site specific areas around the building to celebrate their two-step collaborations.
