About Return to the Southern Reach with Jeff VanderMeer
Jeff VanderMeer joins us to launch Absolution, his return to the world of the Southern Reach, the story of the first infamously ill-fated expedition that formed part of the backdrop for the spectacular Annihilation. Absolution is a tour de force of a book like no other, recounting three expeditions into the Southern Reach and their different, strange events in a brilliant, beautiful, and ever-terrifying plunge into unique and fertile literary territory.
Jeff VanderMeer returns to Glasgow for the first time since he joined us in 2014, discussing that very first literary foray into the Southern Reach, and we're beyond thrilled to be welcoming him on his return, and in discussion once again with our very own Neil Williamson of the Glasgow Science Fiction Writers' Circle!
