Offering an alternative model to producing new theatre, _and friends is a night of new performance accompanied by artist development opportunities curated by a different guest curator each time, founded and produced by Catriona MacLeod.
Our guest curators for October Sanjay and Nay are both multi-hyphenate South Asian creatives working in Scottish theatre who have put together a vibrant and important programme of Scottish and Scotland-based artists from underrepresented backgrounds making work from varying cultural, neurodiverse and queer perspectives.
Our October scratch night features an untitled new play from Valerie Andrews, "The Green Knight But It's Gay" by Niall Moorjani, "Darkness in Progress" by BAFTA and Fringe First-winning artist Adam Kashmiry, "Khab Jeetigi" by Sanjay Lago performed with Iman Akhtar and new work "Cry/Laugh" by Nay Dhanak, performed by Lois Hunt + Emily White.
