About Brick Lane Jazz Festival Presents Rebecca’s Records
Join us at jazz-mainstay, Rum Shack for an unforgettable night of spiritual grooves and beautiful electronic beats... With live performances from Ari Tsugi and Azamiah, followed by DJ sets from Rebecca Vasmant herself and Juju K, the mastermind behind Brick Lane Jazz Festival.
Ari Tsugi blends spiritual jazz, psychedelic rock, and Brazilian melodies into a distinctive sound, marked by intricate arrangements and captivating improvisations that leave audiences feeling uplifted and embraced.
Azamiah, inspired by Hiatus Kaiyote, SAULT, and James Blake, crafts a moody yet uplifting vibe with their debut album In Phases, which has gained steady popularity since its June 2023 release. As they prepare for their second album in 2025, the band continues to explore new musical textures.
Meanwhile, Glasgow’s Rebecca Vasmant showcases her deep music knowledge and unique finds in her standout DJ sets, featuring spiritual jazz and electronic grooves. Known for her residencies at Sub Club, her BBC Radio Scotland show, and performances on Worldwide FM, she has also toured with renowned live bands.
