2024 marks 50 years since ABBA made their international debut at the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton. Half a century later, with their groundbreaking ABBA Voyage show selling out to ecstatic fans from around the world, they remain a more powerful pop-cultural force than ever; their immaculate legacy assured.
The much-admired Swedish journalist Jan Gradvall has had unrivalled access to all four members of ABBA, and the result is The Book of ABBA: Melancholy Undercover, a moving and detailed history of their career and the story of how four musicians working out of Sweden in the late Sixties combined to alter the course of pop history. Jan will be in conversation with author and BBC broadcaster Gemma Cairney in this very special event; expect surprises, songs and dancing.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
