Italian master drummer Andrea Bonioli graduated from the Conservatory in Percussion and later in Jazz.
He has played with Ennio Morricone for almost 20 years, live on tour all over the world, as well as with Nicola Piovani, Luis Bacalov, Riz Ortolani, Roger Waters, Michael Bolton, Antony And The Johnson, Dulce Pontes, Milva and many others.
A multifaceted jazz player, he boasts collaborations with Fabrizio Bosso, Javier Girotto, Alfredo Paixao, Enrico Bracco, Paolo Damiani, Scott Reeves, Rocco Zifarelli, Gianni Oddi, Alessandro Bonanno, Francesco Mazzeo and many many others, in numerous Jazz Festivals throughout Europe, including, Villa Celimontana J. Fest, Napoli Teatro Festival, TDL jazz Fest, Sciacca Jazz, Caserta Jazz, Fulci Music Festival, Bitonto Jazz Festival, International Jazz Day in Cluji, Valsugana Jazz Tour, Jazzit Fest, Jazz Up Fest , Festival Segreti D’Autore, Muntagnini Jazz festival, Oltre il Blu jazz festival and others.
He collaborates with orchestras such as Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Roma Sinfonietta, RAI of Turin and others.
Leader of his Trio and Quartet he has released three studio albums (“Today. The Commercial Album”, “Pop” and “Figli Forever” ) alongside significant compositional output for film and theatre.
