Two-Part Course
Monday 13th & 20th January
6.30pm - 8.30pm
A small class size in a relaxed environment where you'll have plenty of individual support and time to ask all of your questions.
Week 1: Designing and casting your resin pieces with expert tips and advice on mixing, tinting and embedding with resin. A wide selection of moulds and materials for practicing different techniques will be provided but feel free to bring along small things you might like to try embedding in resin (photocopies of images, dried flowers etc)
Week 2: You'll learn how to add a professional finish to your resin pieces and a range of jewellery making skills to turn them all into wearable items. All of your jewellery findings are included (silver/bronze plated & stainless steel) with a variety of options available including necklaces, earrings, pins, rings, bracelets, keyrings and hairclip fixings.
All materials are provided but resin can damage clothing so you may want to bring your own apron. In previous workshops most attendees have left with around 8 finished items of jewellery and the class price also includes a summary tips sheet emailed after the workshop.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
All information (whether in text or photographs) is supplied in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.GOT AN EVENT TO SHARE? It's free to post your events on What's On Glasgow, click here to find out more!
