Gritty, raw, and bluesy guitar sounds with a voice that pours with emotion and fills a venue, Katie and the Bad Sign have played across the UK.
Hailing from Manchester, they describe their sound as a mix of Americana, Blues & good ole Rock n' Roll.
Their 70's inspired music takes you on a journey from catchy melody to gravelly throttling vocals, giving an essence of Janis Joplin brought into modern-day dark rootsy rock.
Inspired by bands such as KALEO, Larkin Poe and Nikki Lane, Katie and the Bad Sign have played up and down the UK at Festivals including Whychwood, Buckle & Boots, and Upton Blues.
They have received radio play from BBC Introducing, CountryLine and Planet Rock Radio, shared a main stage with Jools Holland & Ocean Colour Scene and most recently supported Shane Smith & The Saints at their sold-out Manchester date.
