The sedimentary rocks which underlie much of Glasgow have played an integral role in the industrial development of the city, providing important natural resources such as coal, limestone, sandstone and ironstone. Discover what our local geology can tell us about Glasgow's past, back when Scotland lay at tropical equatorial latitudes over 300 million years ago.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
