Casa En Flames / A House on Fire
📅 15th March, 1.20pm
📍 Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose St, Glasgow G3 6RB
Ever wondered what hides behind a seemingly perfect family?
Montse is thrilled about the weekend she gets to spend with her whole family at her house on the Costa Brava. Her divorce was long ago, her ex has a new partner, and her children are all grown up with lives of their own. No one pays much attention to her. But nothing and no one will dampen her excitement. She’s been dreaming of this moment for too long. The weekend will be perfect… even if she has to burn everything to the ground to make it so.
Casa en Flames won Best Original Screenplay at the Goya Awards and was nominated for Best Film, Best Lead Actress, Best Lead Actor, and Best Supporting Actor.
