About The Dolly Parton Story: A Tribute To Dolly Parton
The Dolly Parton Story is exactly that. A chronological tribute to not just one of the greatest women in the history of country music, but one of the greatest human beings as well.
Starting from Dolly’s childhood in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, the story takes us through her move to Nashville at the age of 18, her breakthrough on the Porter Wagoner Show and on through her rise to the global icon that she is today.
The show covers the full 60 years of her incredible career, taking you on a musical journey through the life of a true legend, featuring hits like Jolene, Coat of Many Colours, 9 to 5 and of course, I Will Always Love You, all accompanied by stunning visual productions and narration.
There’s plenty of Dolly tributes out there, but none of them tell a story while absolutely nailing everything about the great lady quite like this one. Trust us, this is something truly special.
