This year's May Day events are a special occasion, blending our traditional spirit of workers' solidarity with a celebration of Glasgow's working-class legacy.
We'll be honouring the struggles and triumphs of those who built our city, from its origins in the fables of St. Mungo, with his symbolic bird, tree, fish, and bell, to the industrial powerhouse it became, and the vibrant, diverse city we are today.
Events will take place across Glasgow from 24th April until 11th May 2025.
Join us for the May Day March and Rally on 4th May 2025 to mark 850 years of the workers who have build this city!
Entertainment, music & speakers including:
Eddie Dempsey - RMT General Secretary
Jeanine Hourani and Rami Khayal - Palestinian Youth Movement
Professor John Foster - Historian
