The Green Futures employability program allows young people to gain valuable skills through outdoor and adventure activities, such as climbing, cycling, and watersports. Young people also take part in volunteering and the completion of an SQA employability award. Through group work and 1-1 support, we aid with CV writing and interview skills, and support young people to find volunteer, education, or work opportunities.
This four-week program runs Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.. Disadvantaged young people aged between 16 and 25 who are currently unemployed or out of education/training are eligible to join this program. The programme is fully funded and free to access. Transport costs are covered and lunch is provided.
