Have you ever wondered how artists conjure up curious creatures? Inspiration can often be found in real-life examples, and hidden in nature.
Join us in the Hunterian Zoology Museum for a free, creative workshop this summer holiday! Meet illustrator Emma Melchor and discover the art of character design. Explore some of the fascinating and peculiar creatures on display, and then learn how to create your own.
You'll get the chance to enter your finished designs into a competition, and the winning design will be turned into stickers!
No experience necessary. All materials provided.
This workshop will be repeated on 31 July and 8 August 2025.
Additional Information
This event is suitable for children aged 8–12 with an accompanying adult.
This event is free, please book to reserve your space.
About the Artist
