This is a health and spiritual growth retreat with a focus on restoration, reflection and gratitude for the lessons and blessings of the year so far. An opportunity for guests to shed anything that they do not wish to carry with them into the year end, creating space for the birthing of fresh new ideas and insights.
The Retreat will support guests in the following ways:
-Nervous system restoration
-Emotional balance (reduced stress / anxiety)
-Increased self awareness & impulse control
-Awakening of self compassion
-Reconnection with self (calmness & greater clarity)
-Create the conditions to support health recovery
-Promote physical and emotional healing
-Facilitate personal inquiry (to tap into deeper insights)
-Learn tools and techniques to integrate daily to optimise health and vitality
The Retreat will provide a holistic approach to health and wellness using a range of practices, guiding attendees out of the head and into the body, restoring inner harmony, increasing insight, awareness and feelings of connection and clarity.
Self compassion will be a focus of the weekend as will healing and letting go. Includes time for introspection, group reflection and optional sharing.
What’s included:
Mindfulness and meditation practices, breathwork, mindful movement (e.g. Qi Gong), sound bath, Polyvagal nervous system practices, SOMATIC practices, compassion based practices, ancestral healing practices, sharing circle, nature walks, tutor guidance.
There will be free time in the evening’s and an opportunity to explore specific topics from the Retreat, inviting self enquiry and optional sharing. This can help to deepen the retreat experience for guests.
The Venue:
The Retreat will take place in The Cottages at the beautiful Ardoch House, in Gartocharn on the banks of Loch Lomond, surrounded by some of Scotland’s most stunning landscapes.
The room where we’ll be based for the retreat, is on the attic floor which runs the full length of the cottages with views of the sprawling mountains that surround Loch Lomond.

Who is it for?:
This retreat is open to anyone interested in exploring themselves more deeply through mindfulness meditation, breath, sound and movement practices to support the nervous system and learn some of the foundations for self growth and self mastery.
It can be beneficial to have had some experience of mindfulness practice beforehand, however not mandatory. If you wish to attend but haven’t had any prior experience, you can contact us at info@themindfulenterprise.org if you would like a brief discussion before booking.
This Retreat experience will be a notable milestone in your personal growth journey and has the potential to be a catalyst to support individual transformation.
