Join Karené and learn about printing pattern onto textiles with lino. At this workshop you will draw a simple motif, which you will transfer and carefully carve into lino. Karené will assist you in finding the best way to create a balance of positive and negative shapes.
You will then use these lino blocks to print your own repeat pattern onto a tote bag!
This is a great workshop to do if you have been to the Indian block printing workshop (which gives a feel for printing pattern onto textiles), but it is not a pre-requisite, and no previous experience is necessary.
