I am delighted to announce I will hold another sound bath and meditation at the magnificent St Francis Community Centre, 405 Cumberland Street, Gorbals, Glasgow G5 0SE on Thursday, 11 September, 2025 from 7.30 pm till 8.30 pm.
Using gongs, singing bowls, handpan, RAV, chimes and various other gentle and healing instruments.
Please bring a yoga mat, a cover and pillow and some water to drink.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a meditative and immersive experience where participants are “bathed” in sound waves produced by various instruments. These instruments produce frequencies and vibrations that promote deep relaxation, healing and an overall improved state of well-being.
Sound baths are rooted in a variety of ancient healing practices, dating back thousands of years and spanning multiple cultures and civilizations, from Tibetan and Nepalese to Roman and Indian traditions.
Instruments like singing bowls, gongs, and bells have historically been used in spiritual ceremonies, for meditation, and more so in healing rituals, as they are believed to help in the movement of energy in the body. These ancient customs are the basis for the sound bath experiences of today.
