Are you just starting out on your family history journey? Or maybe you’ve hit a brick wall in your research?
Join us for a free family history session on the 22nd August, where we’ll explore useful sources, research techniques, and where to look next.
We’ll also take a look at some fascinating archive records from the Glasgow School of Art, which are rich in historical detail. You’ll discover how unexpected sources—like student registers, correspondence, or architectural plans—can reveal valuable insights about the past.
There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions throughout the session.
Open to everyone – free, but booking essential!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
