All have the opportunity to take part in the evening performance.
First Event at 12.30 until 2.30pm "Singing Workshop: Come and Sing St Hildegard"
All are welcome to take part in this relaxed informal singing workshop. Our musical director, Alan Tavener will offer singing tips and bring everyone together to sing some of St Hildegard of Bingen’s music.
Second Event 2.30pm until 3.30pm "St Hildegard Performance Rehearsal"
Take part or simply enjoy the final preparations for the Performance at 16:00.
"Final Performance with Interval" 4pm until 6.15pm
Rebecca Tavener will talk on St Hildegard as composer, followed by the concert 'Songs of Celestial Revelations' performed by the professional vocal ensemble Canty, including Bill Taylor, The Schola Cantorum of St Bride and community choir directed by Alan Tavener.
Accessibility: Access to the main church is via the side porch. A portable ramp is available followed by a stair lift. An audio loop is available.
There is one toilet on the same level as the church. This is for all to use.
Transport: Buses that pass near Hyndland Road number 2,4,4A,M4
The 15 goes along Hyndland Road. The nearest train station is Hyndland
