The New Moon is a time when our nervous system can feel a little off, gently reset body and mind by taking part in the New Moon Yoga & Snacks Gathering with The Japanese Yoga Club.

You might feel more tired than usual, a little low, or just not quite like yourself.

That’s why we gather on this evening.

In class, we’ll gently reset body and mind through breath-led movement and deep core awareness — including twists, folds, and belly-focused postures to stimulate the gut, balance the nervous system, and support recovery from fatigue.

After practice, we’ll share something special: authentic Japanese snacks you don’t usually find in Glasgow. A chance to sit together, chat lightly around the theme of “detox,” and let your thoughts out. Often, simply voicing what’s inside can leave the heart feeling lighter.

• A grounding practice to support your nervous system
• Fatigue-recovery postures to help you feel recharged
• Authentic Japanese snacks & gentle conversation
• A reset for the start of a new moon cycle
