FUNDRAISER FOR MEN'S SHED GOVAN
A double whammy .... Come and hear a great orchestra and raise funds for a great cause. We can guarantee a good night out.
City of Glasgow Wind Orchestra Concert is a volunteer community orchestra, founded in 1982 and based in Glasgow. They have an extensive repertoire that includes Marches, Overtures, Classical Music, music from Stage and Screen, Solo Features, and Contemporary pieces.
The Men's Shed in Govan is about having somewhere to go for retired, unemployed or those unable to work through ill-health, to go for a blether, play a game of darts, learn some woodwork skills, do some gardening, learn how to cook, take on a project, take up a hobby, help the community and much more, or just hang out and talk about new ideas for what to do at the Shed.
The Men's Shed is profoundly grateful to the Glasgow Woodwind Orchestra for all the support they give us.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
