Curious about Scottish Country Dancing but never tried it before? Or maybe you’ve danced at a ceilidh and thought, I’d like to learn more? Or perhaps you’ve danced before but feel a bit rusty? This Beginners Class is the perfect starting point. Our friendly teachers will guide you through the basic steps and formations at an easy pace. You don’t need any previous experience or a partner, just bring comfortable shoes and a smile!

Expect:
• A warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Easy-to-follow instruction
• Great exercise for body and mind
• Social fun and new friendships

It’s a brilliant way to keep active, de-stress, and enjoy Scotland’s traditional dance culture in a relaxed and supportive group. Come along and give it a go!

The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) Glasgow Branch has been bringing the joy of Scottish Country Dancing to the city for over 100 years, recently celebrating its centenary. We offer classes for all levels, from beginners to very advanced dancers, and host social events, dances, and community outreach throughout the year. Our aim is to share Scotland’s rich dance heritage in a friendly, welcoming environment. Come and join us for fun, fitness, and friendship!
