Join us at Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church for an afternoon to celebrate the work of charity Mary's Meals as we reach the amazing milestone of feeding 3 million children every school day.
Celebrate with us
Around the world, 3 million children in 16 countries sit down each day to enjoy a mug, bowl or plate of Mary's Meals, made possible by our wonderful supporters. If you're new to our work or a long-term supporter, this is a great opportunity to hear the latest updates on our mission at this exciting moment, including the growth of our work in challenging conditions and the long term impact for individuals and communities.
Hear from our inspiring speakers
Join us to hear from our engaging speakers including our Head of Media and Content, Shona Shea, who will share the stories of children she has met around the world whose lives have been changed by Mary's Meals. We are also delighted to be joined by our super fundraiser Geraldine McFaul to hear about her epic 2,000 mile walk from Glasgow to Rome in aid of Mary's Meals.
Attendees are invited to arrive from 12 noon, with the talks starting at 12.30pm. Following the talks, we will enjoy tea, coffee and home baking in the church halls.
The event is free of charge, but please reserve your space through Eventbrite or by calling the office on 0800 6981212.
Getting to the event
Public transport is a great way to travel to the event, with the 4, 4A & 16 buses stopping closeby and Hyndland train station just 8 minutes walk away. Free on street parking is also available in the streets around the church.
If you require a disabled parking space, please let us know.
