This year marks the 65th anniversary of the release of one of cinemas most influential films, Psycho. With it’s iconic status and cultural impact, due to Hitchcock’s pioneering directing style, this 1960 classic changed cinema and the movie going experience forever, with the insistence that audiences see the film from the very beginning, with no latecomers admitted.
Alongside Psycho, we will be screening Frenzy. Regarded as one of Hitchcock’s darkest and most salacious thrillers, Frenzy is Hitchcock at his most unrestrained, a thriller that revels in decisively British black comedy, which contravenes the story’s sordid horror.
Join us on Friday 26th September at 7.30pm for a night of suspense, horror, murder and maybe a wee themed shot or two to help settle your nerves.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
