In October, our street will undergo an enchanted makeover! Join us for magical tours at the museum on select days. Visit our website for more details and event information.
1st October - 2nd November:
Magical mini figure house sorting quest. Are you Pilcher, Pullinger or Ovinius? Complete our trail and find out!
Every weekend in October, and 13th - 17th October:
Pop up magic shop in the Dragon's Saddlery, Main Street.
13th October

Explore magical realms, spooky castles and mythical monsters with storyteller Anna Lehr.
13th October
10 - 12 noon
A tour of the magical modes of transport in Riverside, then conjure up your own vehicle from LEGO.
14th October
1.30 - 4pm
Spooky beasties - meet the zoology curator and get up close and personal with some strange & creepy animals.
15th October
1.30 - 4pm
Spell Writing conjure a note with a homemade quill and invisible ink and your owl will deliver it.
16th October
1.30 - 4pm
Spooky Spiders - create your own creepy crawly from pipe cleaners and pom poms to scare your friends & family!
17th October
10.30 - 1pm & 2-4.30
Ages 8+
Make your own amulet, lucky charm or talisman with Vanilla Ink Jewellery School.
25th and 26th October

Hypnotic Haunted Thaumatropes - make a magical bug themed optical toy to delight and disgust.
