This course is ideal for parents to be, parents, grandparents, babysitters and anyone caring for babies or children. This course is not accredited and therefore not suitable for childminders.
What You’ll Learn:
• Assessing an Emergency Situation
• CPR for Infants and Children
• Recovery Position for Infants and Children
• Managing Choking for Infants and Children
• Burns Treatment
• Anaphylaxis
• Febrile Seizures
• Bleeding
• Head Injuries
• Poisoning
• Meningitis awareness
Daisy First Aid manuals and First Aid Kits will be available to purchase on the day.
We hope you would never have to put any of the skills you will learn in to practice but if you do you will be well equipped to cope with an emergency situation should it occur.
The class size is kept small to allow everyone the chance to ask questions and make sure you feel you understand everything clearly.
Babes in arms are welcome if you have no option of childcare.
The first aid course is on Saturday 15th November 10.30 – 12.30 at Knightswood Community Centre 201 Alderman Rd, G13 3DD.
The course £30 per person.
