The Village Storytelling centre hosts these new commissioned performances as part of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival 2025. Platforming the voices of Glasgow based artists from across the Scottish Storytelling scene these performances reflect the shifting, complex identity of Glasgow new and old:
What We Talk about when we talk about life
Steph Morris and Cit Lennox navigate the journey from Gartleahill to Ruchill, Flic en Flac to Rose Hill, searching for an identity that feels like home.
Three Voices: Stories of Glasgow
Peilin Shi, Josey Green and Liam Campbell explore intergenerational migration, multilingual folk ritual, Glaswegian humour and queer working-class heritage
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
