The Glasgow Bach Cantata project brings together professional, amateur and professional musicians across Glasgow to perform all of JS Bach's 220+ cantatas over the coming years, in aid of charity.
We are thrilled that our patron, John Butt, a world renowned baroque music expert, will be back to conduct us in concert 22.
We will briefly be breaking from our support of Glasgow City Mission and this concert will be held in aid of An Organ for Glasgow (https://www.anorganforglasgow.org/), which is aiming to restore and install an organ donated to St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral. St Mary's is so pivotal in nurturing young musicians that we wanted to support this excellent cause for the future.
Director: John Butt OBE
