A comedy clash of tradition and ambition in the heart of Glasgow's East End.
Join us for a humorous yet poignant journey into the heart of a Glasgow family as Two Tribes takes the stage.
Alan Brady’s play is a lively snapshot of life in the East End, following Archie McCann, his wife Rita, and their daughters as they navigate wedding plans, football rivalries, and financial woes.
It’s 1983 in Glasgow’s east end, and poor Archie McCann is stuck in a right pickle. His two daughters, Tricia and Kathleen, are getting married on the same day – the very day of the Celtic vs Rangers League Cup final! Convinced the universe (and the SFA) are out to get him, Archie’s torn between walking his girls down the aisle or sneaking off to watch the match.
With his wife Rita off protesting with her CND pals, future sons-in-law on opposite sides of the football divide, and Maggie, the nosey neighbour with a secret crush on Archie, it’s all set for a day of mayhem.
Get ready for a bellyful of laughs as Archie tries to juggle weddings, football, and a whole lot of chaos!
