Helensburgh & District Highland Association Website

We hold thirteen functions each year on the last Friday of each month except the Christmas supper dance, which is held mid-December. The functions are held in a number of halls in the area (mostly in the Osprey fubction suite of the Commodore Hotel Helensburgh) Please see our website for more information about each event.

We also hold a Hogmanay Event in the Geilston Hall, Cardross which is very popular.

Bar facilities and raffle at all our functions. Tea/coffee and a biscuit are available at the interval.

Our dances are traditionally Scottish (ceilidh) with a few Modern.

Whether you are a member of the Association or not makes no difference! You are most welcome!

At one of our functions, usually in April when funds are available, we donate profits made to various local charities and good causes.

Why not come along for an enjoyable entertaining evening.

Cost of tickets for normal Dances and Ceilidh Dances is members £10 & non/member £12 (under 16's half price)

The Highland Association has recently celebrated its 110th Anniversary and continues to promote a spirit of welcome and friendship, originally bringing together Folk from the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, but in modern times extending a warm welcome to all.

For anyone interested, information about the Association, including future functions, etc. can be found on our website.
