Shoppers are being reminded to visit the Centre’s Christmas Grotto before it closes to allow Santa to carry out his delivery on December 25.
The centre’s Grotto, located outside Debenhams on the first floor of the mall is open daily between 11am-7pm until Christmas Eve when it will be operating 10am-4pm. It costs £4.50 to visit Santa and receive a gift. As this is an extra busy time of year Santa is urging parents to book in advance at www.st-enoch.com.
Elsewhere in the Centre Frozen’s Olaf will be making it snow twice a day outside Hamleys until Christmas Eve, when the final flurry will fall at 4.30pm. Olaf and Hamleys’ elves will sing and dance along to a selection of favourite festive songs before the elves use their Christmas magic to make it snow indoors. Children will be able to have their photo taken with Olaf.
It’s also the last chance for shoppers to take a selfie with the Centre’s iconic Christmas decorations and be in with the chance of winning a £250 St. Enoch gift card. Simply take a photo and share it on Twitter @stenochcentre, facebook.com/stenochcentre or on Instagram @stenochcentre with #christmasatitsbest.
The centre is open 9am-9pm on December 22 and 23, and 9am-5pm on December 24.
Anne Ledgerwood, General Manager at St. Enoch Centre said: “We are reminding shoppers that there are only a few days left to take full advantage of our festivities before our Christmas attractions close down for the big day.
“There’s something for all the family down at the Centre during the final countdown to Thursday and we hope that our customers enjoy the festive fun.”
