The leaves are falling and there’s a chill in the air. With autumn well and truly setting in, Cameron House has unveiled its line-up for the darker months, from October holidays to the festive season and Hogmanay. From kids staying, playing and eating for free, to a wine dinner, Christmas market and seasonal breaks, the coming months promise to be the most wonderful (and stress free, thanks to the team at Cameron House) time of the year, for the whole family.
Cameron House has Christmas all wrapped up this year. With over 60 Christmas trees twinkling throughout the resort, a Cinderella pantomime and real reindeers visiting the hotel on Christmas Eve, it promises to be a festive season to remember.
Set on the banks of Loch Lomond, in Scotland’s first national park, this five-star resort is a magical place to visit. “Whether guests are staying with us for an autumnal break, coming along to our Christmas market, or indulging in a Christmas escape, we’re looking forward to welcoming them.” says Resort Director, Andy Roger. “We can’t wait to deck the halls, light the fires and await a visit from a very special guest. The festive season is such a special time and this year Cameron House Resort really has the wow factor.”

After the success of last year’s Christmas Market premier, Cameron House is once again bringing the delights of a traditional market to Loch Lomond from 15-17 December, 11am-4pm. Shoppers are invited to keep warm with a hot cocoa or mulled wine and browse the stalls selling a variety of handmade goods including jewellery, art, homeware and clothing. Food and drink stalls will also help keep Christmas shoppers fuelled throughout the day.
Christmas Afternoon Tea
The traditional Cameron House afternoon tea has been given a Christmas twist with roast turkey sandwiches, sage and chestnut sausage rolls as well as a new festive cake stand. Guests can top this off with a glass of champagne or mulled wine to round off this very special occasion. Prices start from £35 per person.

Festive Breaks
Whether you’re staying two, three or four nights, Cameron House has lots to offer for festive celebrations this year, including:
Real Reindeer – New for 2017

Cinderella Pantomime
Featuring the magic of the Fairy Godmother, the sparkle of glass slippers, the beautiful Cinderella and of course, the ugly sisters; Cameron House’s panto brings beautiful sets and costumes, enchanting music and lots of laughter to Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Christmas Day
Whether it's an intimate table for two or a family ‘Host the Roast’ affair that allows mums and dads to carve the turkey, Cameron House has Christmas Day sorted. After breakfast and opening gifts, families can enjoy festive movies, take a walk around the grounds to a Wizard of Oz themed theatrical walk, or curl up by a roaring fire with a cup of hot chocolate.
Boxing Day
During the day, families can join a treasure hunt around the Loch and watch the birds of prey demonstrations. In the evening, there are ceilidh dancing lessons followed by the ‘Gathering of the Clans’ ceilidh for guests to take part in.
For New Year

• ‘Gathering of the Clans’ formal ceilidh
• ‘Hogmanay Hoolie’ family gathering in The Boat House
• Intimate dinner in The Cameron Grill
For the midnight celebrations, all guests will be invited to follow the piper to watch the fireworks display from the lawn and enjoy the traditional sounds of the pipe band, to welcome in 2018.
