The baker has now opened within The Atrium food court which allows its customers to sit-in and enjoy the selection of hot and cold sandwiches as well as soups and freshly baked savouries.
Since it’s refurbishment last year, which saw £1.5million invested in the food court, The Atrium has seen a number of new outlets open as well as existing brands increase their space to meet the growing demand.
McDonald’s has significantly increased its space within the food court to 1519 sq ft as part of its ongoing modernisation and expansion programme. The larger unit, which also launched this month, includes seven self-service kiosks to allow customers to view the menu, check nutritional information, as well as order and pay, allowing the fast food outlet to provide a faster service to higher numbers of customers.
Anne Ledgerwood, general manager of St. Enoch Centre, said: “St. Enoch is committed to ensuring the centre continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of shoppers who are increasingly looking for improved eating and entertainment as part of their shopping experience.
“Greggs is a firm favourite and is a great addition to the food court, providing shoppers with a range of breakfast, lunch and snack options to be enjoyed in centre or on the go. The arrival of Greggs and further investment in McDonalds reinforces our position as Scotland’s largest food court.
“This is an exciting time for the centre as we embark on the next stage of our multi-million pound redevelopment to support St. Enoch’s position as the city’s prime shopping and leisure destination.”
The Atrium offers a range of dining options including Di Maggio’s, KFC, Mr Nick’s, Subway, and Wongs.
