Princes Square’s inaugural ‘Inspirational Woman Awards’ will be held in the courtyard on Tuesday 24th March 2020. Tickets cost £10 and include: entry to the awards; a glass of fizz and canapes and a ticket to the after-party.

The awards will be hosted by TV presenter and stylist, Susie Cormack Bruce. Judges will be: Claire Nelson, CEO, Netball Scotland; Katie Moody, Princes Square and Caroline Wilson from Glasgow Evening Times. The judges will shortlist five nominees and one will be crowned overall winner.

The five final nominees will be treated to a make-over in Princes Square on the evening of the awards. The winner will receive a gift voucher for Princes Square, an award and £1000 donated to a charity of their choice.

Entries must be submitted by 9am on Monday 9th March. Nominees will be announced on Friday 13th March 2020.

Katie Moody from Princes Square commented: “We wanted to celebrate International Women’s Day but we felt that one day wasn’t enough so we decided to have a month-long celebration. Our awards have been created to commend the inspirational women that go above and beyond and who deserve recognition in our Inspirational Woman Awards.”

Throughout the month, Princes Square will be showcasing the women behind their famous luxury brands including: jeweller, Sheila Fleet; Jo Malone from Jo Loves; the grand dame of fashion, Vivienne Westwood; Diane Hall, founder of Dower & Hall, amongst others.

With over 25 retailers and 12 eateries, Princes Square is Glasgow’s premier retail and leisure destination. Located in the heart of the city’s bustling Buchanan Street, the mall provides a shopping haven to lovers of high street and designer fashion, beauty, jewellery, homewares and lifestyle brands while its wide range of bars, restaurants and cafes offers something for every palate. You can enjoy all the latest blockbusters at Everyman cinema, just off the courtyard.
