Soar Braehead to prepare for exciting new rebrand during lockdown
Following the recent government announcement placing Glasgow under level four restrictions, Soar Braehead has revealed the team will use the next few weeks to prepare for an exciting new rebrand!

New restrictions mean Scotland’s leading family leisure destination will be operating on a partially closed basis until 11 December, when restrictions are expected to be eased. However, as centre manager Bruce Harley explains, his team will be using that time wisely.
He said: “It’s been a tough year for our venues at Soar and we’re continuing to work closely with our tenants and support them through these challenging times.
“I want to remind everyone there’s still a lot to look forward to. Over the next few weeks, we will be putting the finishing touches to our brand new name and branding, which is set to be unveiled very soon.
“We’ve been an integral part of the Glasgow community for many years and we’ve worked really hard to create a new brand that honours the heart of our community while ensuring the centre remains a great destination for families to enjoy a great day out. It’s going to be an exciting new era for our centre and we can’t wait to share the plans with people.
“And, that’s not all. Although Christmas will look a little different this year, we also have lots of great plans for the upcoming season and we look forward to welcoming families back to the centre in mid-December for lots of festive fun and snowy activities, including a special socially distanced visit from Santa.”
In line with the new restrictions, Soar Braehead will be operating on a partially closed basis from Friday 20 November. As an essential service, Evans Cycles will remain open but all other retailers will close temporarily.
Bruce added: “I’d like to thank all our visitors and staff for their continued patience during this challenging time. We will continue to follow the official government guidance and to monitor the situation closely.”
In October, property management specialist MAPP took over the running of Soar Braehead from previous owner intu.
