Glasgow Cocktail Week (24 September - 3 October) is gearing up to take over the city for the next ten days and they have released three cocktail tours in partnership with Halewood artisanal drinks for guests to explore some of the city’s best bars including recently opened Abandon Ship Bar, sky-high VEGA and Moskito.
Ticket holders will once again enjoy cocktail sampling, exciting events and access 100s of exclusively discounted cocktails and unlock Glasgow Cocktail Week menus featuring imaginative £5 serves with their wristbands or digital tickets at a host of top venues across the city.
There are three cocktail trails this year to explore. A city centre tour featuring Ralph & Finns, The Citizen, Anchor Line, Platform, Abandon Ship Bar, Tabac and VEGA. If you fancy heading WEST, try their City/ West tour featuring Dakota, Moskito, Tiki, Finnieston, Fore Play Crazy Golf, The Parlour, Cranside Kitchen and Vodka Vodka to name a few.
Or head on to the Merchant City / East and visit the likes of The Spiritualist, The Gate, Bowlarama, The DAM and St Lukes to enjoy imaginative cocktails.
You’ll also find memorable moments with a raft of fun events created exclusively for the festival to celebrate cocktail culture in Glasgow.
On Friday 24th + Saturday 25th September there's a silent disco in the sky at VEGA on the top floor of Yotel called Silent Disco Drinks with beautiful backdrops, delicious drinks combining neon-lit silent disco, with a different music genre to match Instagrammable cocktails. Guests will flick between the channels and sip on bespoke serves. You can enjoy a Whitley Neill gin bramble a Dead Man’s Fingers tiki rum punch and a JJ Whitley gold espresso martini.
On Sunday 26th September head to The Gate for Brunch Bingo and enjoy a Glasgow Cocktail Week takeover with Yardhead whisky. Penicillin and pornstar martini slushies, alongside silly prizes and a whole lot of fun.
Next week (Thursday, 30th September) in a first for Glasgow, experience Whitley Neill’s Connoisseur’s Cut gin at A Cut Above party and tasting event at The Spiritualist. With a DJ soundtracking the evening and complimentary drinks, ticket holders will celebrate this exceptional gin that pays homage to the Whitley Neill family and its distilling beginnings.
Then on Saturday 2nd October, Bowlarama is hosting a series of interactive masterclasses to shake things up. A make your own mojito session with Dead Man's Fingers and a World of Whitley Neill gin sampling with Fevertree tonic is happening from 12 - 6pm.
A pink Tequila Rose Scotland Cart Tour will also be popping up over the ten days in venues for ticket holders to enjoy.
Wheesht - the hidden speakeasy is coming back for one night only in a top-secret event to celebrate Glasgow Cocktail Week on the 28th of September. Head to instagram.com/wheeshtbar to find out more.
To close the festival on Sunday 3rd October, there’s a jazz and gin Sunday called Fin & Gin at the Finnieston celebrating the best of Scottish seafood and award-winning gin.

Glasgow Cocktail Week organiser, Nicola Moir, explains: “Our cocktail tours are a great way to discover hidden bars and venues across Glasgow. Get your friends together and go out and explore the city’s best bars. We’ve got a packed programme this year with exciting masterclasses, tastings and parties and we can’t wait to take over the city.”
Guests that purchase an All Access ticket will enjoy one session at our silent disco in the sky at VEGA, a wristband to unlock exclusive menus and £5 drinks in the festival and your pick of the events! Choose to go as many as you wish as part of your ticket price.
Limited tickets for Glasgow Cocktail Week are now on sale. Tickets start from £5 and can be purchased from www.glasgowcocktailweek.com
