Summer Family Festivals Return for 2022!
Platform Glasgow are back this July with a double whammy of summer festivals!

Saturday 23rd July welcomes the Alexandra Park Festival Day which kicks off in fine summer style. Taking place between 12 and 4pm, with live music, food & market stalls, kids activities, wrestling, inflatables plus much much more this is a day out packed with fun and entertainment. With thanks to Glasgow City Council, Milnbank Housing Association, Glasgow Housing Association, Spireview Housing Association, Copperworks Housing Association.
As part of the festival and to celebrate Scotland's Year of Stories we'll be hosting a ‘Fancy Dress Parade Along the Parade’! Guests are welcome to attend dressed as their favourite fictional character - so dig out those World Book Day costumes or make your own from what you have in the house - and come join us! It promises to be the largest fancy dress parade Alexandra Parade has seen….in the last two years anyway! Everyone is welcome, from individuals and families to groups large and small - if you are interested in getting involved and would like more information (including where to meet before the parade begins) please email info@platform-online.co.uk
Make sure you save some energy for Saturday 30th July for The Bridge Family Festival which returns for another year. Enjoy live music, children’s activities, swimming pool, food and community stalls - and lots more! From 12noon - 4pm - free entry - The Bridge, 1000 Westerhouse Road, Glasgow, G34 9JW.
