Glow Up winner to host Makeup Masterclass at Buchanan Galleries
The Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star winner and Glasgow make-up artist, Yong-chin Marika Breslin, is hosting an interactive make-up masterclass at Buchanan Galleries.

Taking place at 4pm on Monday 16th January, the 26-year-old star from Glasgow will be showcasing her make-up talent and sharing her expert industry knowledge in a live demonstration, followed by a Q&A session, answering questions about cosmetics, make-up tips and tricks, and life after being crowned winner on Season 4 BBC Glow Up.
Yong-chin is a multi-disciplinary artist known for her creative make-up looks, with the aim of pushing the restraints of commercial beauty.
The event is free to attend and will take place on the ground floor at Buchanan Galleries, adjacent to John Lewis and in front of the flower wall. Seating will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
Visitors to the event will also have the chance to have a selfie with Yong-chin following the masterclass.
Yong-chin Marika Breslin commented: “I am so excited to finally host a make-up masterclass in Glasgow. I am going to be demoing a creative make-up that focuses on identity design and transformation. I think it is important to constantly push boundaries within the make-up industry and inspire the next generation to do the same.”

“The free event will be taking place next Monday, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to the centre who are curious to learn some tips and tricks from Glasgow’s own make-up star and find out more about using cosmetics in a creative way.”
