One Love, One Life, Sloan's latest project, has garnered endorsements from music giants like Rod Stewart, Fran Healy, The Proclaimers, Simple Minds, Midge Ure, Paul Buchanan the Blue Nile, and even Bono, a testament to the personal relationships he has cultivated throughout his career.
Bookface, founded by avid reader and broadcaster Heather Suttie in 2020, has grown to include 3400 members spanning 48 countries. Monthly events in Glasgow attract book lovers from across the UK, offering a unique opportunity to engage with successful authors during Q+A sessions.
Billy Sloan joins an impressive roster of authors who have graced sold-out Bookface events in Glasgow, including Davinia Taylor, Alan Parks, Nikki May, Susannah Constantine, Sam Baker, Doug Allan, Guy Grieve, Helen Fitzgerald and Sophie Gravia.
Participants are encouraged to bring four books for the sustainable book swap, featuring an extensive collection of 400 titles. However, Bookface recognises the diverse preferences of its members, accommodating those who opt for Kindle or audio formats.
