The IRN-BRU Carnival, SEC Glasgow, is launching its first over 16’s only session on Thursday 11 January from 4pm-9pm. Featuring an exclusive DJ set from DJ Dominique, who will be performing from 5:30pm – 6:15pm, the brand-new event, will bring thrilling rides, bright strobe lights and banging tracks to what is set to be a brilliant evening.
A favourite festive attraction for Glasgow for more than 100 years, The IRN-BRU Carnival, features more than 65 rides and attractions to thrill and excite. Firm favourites for the over 16s include; the brand new white knuckle Air Raid, high flying Star Fighter or the Waltzers which will have you spinning in delight at high speed. Not for the faint hearted, The Hotel of Terror, is spine chilling or for those who prefer something a bit more tame the Penalty Shoot Out or Bingo stalls are the perfect escape.
The adults only session will also have plenty of delicious food options to choose from, including street food style burgers, salt and chili chips and, for those with a sweet tooth, tasty sugary churros. The IRN-BRU Carnival is an alcohol-free event, and attendees will not be permitted if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Attendees can enjoy the delicious flavours of Carnival, or make the short walk to Finnieston to enjoy the area’s many bars and restaurants.
Tickets to see DJ Dominique are limited and access is only permitted with a wristband. This can be added alongside your tickets during the online booking process and is on a first come, first served, basis.
The IRN-BRU Carnival kicks off on Friday 22 December 2023 and will be open until Sunday 14 January 2024. Standard entry tickets are available from £18.50 with discounts available for groups, concessions and Young Scot card holders, and kids under three go free.
